Acta Musicologica is the peer-reviewed journal of the International Musicological Society (IMS). It is published semiannually and contains articles on musicological research of international importance. Acta is indexed and abstracted by all the major citation indexing services and bibliographic databases. IMS members have free access to the journal’s contents via JSTOR and Project MUSE—issues from 2023 onward are also available directly via this website.
